Must be missing something

Noob simple question here.

Got a PQ 8 planet I just colonized and had a nice 300% production bonus tile. Put an enhanced Factory on it, and in the summary it shows just as I would expect, 14mp and then 42mp bonus.

I have production percentage set at 100% and Military, Social, and Research all set at 33, 33, and 34%

But the planet is only producing 3 shields and 3 hammers? Why?

Popular support is at 82% (Im Imperial tho), I have plenty in my treasury. IS there something I am missing?

Planet pop is only about 1 billion. Does that affect max output?

I'm really confused because I'm trying to see how the numbers are generated and this makes no sense.

more factories = "more hammers" for social/miltary
focus = "more hammers here" (depending where u have the colony focusing its production)
so i recommend focusing your production on that planet to what ever u need ATM, ie- soical/miltary/research
or upgrade you factories via research or build more factories on the planet

I think something was wrong with the game. because I exited the game, reloaded, and all the outputs started to make sense.

I've seen similar things, on the summary screen for a planet the total production is listed as a number, yet when I add up all military and social hammers, the number is far far lower then the number listed in the planet summary (or if I add up the capacities of all factories) This is with or without focus selected.

If you say reloading fixed it, I'll check that out if I see it again.
