It is really satisfying to see a really quality game get the praise it desserves. When developers like the people at stardock are rewarded for having a gamer friendly philosophy and a deeply apparent love of the craft it makes me suspect there may be a tiny shred of justice in this universe.

Not to turn this into a G4 bashing thread but I would not expect that network to get much better. An ex employee tells me they just want to be a 2nd rate spike tv, so i dont know how long quality gaming news will be their highest priority.

At least Adam and Morgan got it right with gal civ , Congratulations.

They finally posted the link to the video on their site. I haven't had a chance to watch it since my work comp has issues with flash, but the video should be linked at the bottom. Turn down your sound when starting it, since they force an ad on you before the video and the volume is often set rather high.

That part made me laugh. It actually did overheat many people's graphics cards.

They compared it to Civ4, which also got 5 out of 5. I think they're pretty fair with their reviews and ratings. They know quality when they play it, and they can also identify the same old-same old too. Plus they're funny and smart, and Morgan is very pleasant to look at. X-Play is the only show on G4 I still watch.

Well Im almost ashamed to say that the only UK Games Mag I can find that has reviewed GC2 is 'PCZone' (probably slightly bigger circ than PC Gamer over here?) and it gave GC2 60%! When you read what is allegedly a review it sounds even worse. The link to the online version of the review and a few comments back from Gamers can be found here: http://www.pczone.co.uk/
