I love the rally points, they reduce the micromanagement immensely. But IMHO they could be even better. The current behaviour of setting a destination for a ship defaults to NONE, which doesn't make sense. You wouldn't bring up the dialog if you didn't want to set a destination, and the cancel button is your friend if you got into the dialog by mistake. I want the following simple changes to the set destination dialog, to reduce the amount of clicking required to set destinations.
* Remember which rally point was last selected and have that preselected when I next choose to set a destination for another ship.
* Remove the NONE selection as it is redundant. I for one have never used the HOME selection either and wouldn't cry if it disappeared, but perhaps someone likes that option.
* Respond to keypresses. Definitely the ENTER key to accept the currently selected rally point in the list. In combination with the first bullet, it allows making many ships converge at a point with T+ENTER. Also selection in the list with any letter to rally points with that starting letter would be nice, such as E for the rally point named 'East front', D for 'Drengin slaughter' or 'Defence gathering'.
A workaround to get many ships to converge with few clicks now is to set colony destinations, but I tend to station the new ship where it was built and rather send some currently defending, older ship into the war instead, so it doesn't really fit the bill.
