After getting frustrated that Beta2 and Beta3 kept crashing, I have been relieved to find that Beta3A has not crashed yet for me(crossing fingers) in about 8 hours of play. Most of the serious bugs that I have reported before have also been addressed in the latest Beta, but there is one still remaining:
Any time you have a planet with a planetary production bonus, that bonus is NOT applied. However, planetary research bonuses ARE applied. The easiest way to see this is to start a game, making sure that you have no production bonuses from research or racial picks. Since Beta3A has restored the 10% production bonus to your home world (in Beta 3 it was research 10% bonus), you can set spending to 100%, set military to 100%, and go into your planet screen for your home world. Set military to 100% for that world. You will see that production is set to 24 (the amount provided by your civilization capital). If you now click the Details button, you will see Planet bonus has 10% production listed. If that bonus was really being provided, then production should be 26, not 24.
The same thing happens if you colonize a world and get a special event and one of the choices is increased production. If you choose this (in my game I had one with a 46% bonus), then you will be able to see it on the details screen, but the planet only produces as much as it would without the bonus. However, if you get a research bonus, you will see the difference in the amount of beakers produced --- so research bonuses are applied correctly. Also, any production bonuses applied by starbases and by your civ-wide production bonuses are also correctly applied.
