Ok, small problem I believe with influence...
First of all, when I first start up a game, I notice that the AI's sphere of influence is significantly larger than mine every time, but that isn't the bug I have noticed, just an annoyance.
Second, when the AI builds Influence starbases in my territory, it seems really do nothing... However, when I destroy it later, my influence decreases as if the base was actually boosting my influence. Normal?
Third, after influence has spread and one or two AI's become very dominant with their influence, I start to try and boost mine to keep my planets from revolting. I look for influence mining bases, but a lot of the time don't find any that belong to the ones dominating with influence. What I don't understand is how they get so much influence when we have similar populations and I actually have researched some of the influence techs. Does the AI get an economic boost AND an influence boost at the harder levels? (Crippling and above)
Fourth, the Political Capital says that it doubles the influence on the planet it is created upon, but it only has the same affect as a Cultural Exchange center... normal?
Finally, how about an option to disable influence from causing planetary revolts so one can focus more on war efforts and not have to worry about being defeated by an AI with virtually no military left but so much influence that you can't keep your planets.
Hope someone actually responds!
