the latter, but the real reason was i played EverQuest for years and got tired of lag lol. the bottom line is you "could" build a computer for thousands less, i cant, i have the cash to spend you dont, all things ballance out. i can, if i want to, take the time to learn how build a truck for thousands less than i paid to the dealership too but who has the time? a computer is a tool to me, i want to use and enjoy it, not spend years learning all the ins and outs of how to build one. id rather pay someone else to know all that crap and let them chase their tails trying to keep up with the latest and greatest. i can check the oil, keep air in the tires, and the fluids toped off with my computer baring that i run it into the shop for a tun up now and then and im happy.
you could, i assume, learn to code your own game and thus have no need too spend $40 on GS2 but you didnt , why not? should i make snarky comments about your income level that you would waste cash buying someone else game when you could have learned to code your own?
