The post may not appear in the right forum until it is replied too. Maybe some kind of forum bug. Try bumping them if they do not appear after an hour or so.

Yeah happening to me too. This is my third post. It's driving me crazy because I want this bug answered!!!

This happened just today as I was playing. I hit "TURN" and it wouldn't progress to the next turn. I tried loading a previously saved game and it wouldn't work. Restarted the game, and even my computer. Same. It doesn't crash, just hangs and refuses to continue to the next turn. I had just alocated 95% of my production to science, don't know if that had anything to do with that. My debug.err is below.

My posts aren't getting put in the bug forum either.

Here's my problem...

Just bought the game a couple of hours ago and have spend the last comple extremely frustrating hours trying to download the game. I am stuck in an endless cycle of downloading the gc2.sdc file. I have tried everything and nothing seems to work.

I have turned off both my firewall and antivirus programs.

I have deleted and re-installed the Stardock application.

I have deleted all instances of the gc2.sdc file in the /temp directories.

EDIT - Hmm just tried it one more time and it worked. I have no idea what I did differently...

I noticed that too. It's a bit confusing. Besides, if you can't see a post until it is replied to, how can you reply to it?

I am also haveing the same problem, please allow me to post my problem here.

All the cutscenes(ingame, intro, ext.) skip and sometimes freezeup completely, but the sound will keep on playing. The game itself is kinda glitchy as well, especially the menus, which are kinda unresponsive at times. The research tech tree thingy is real slow, as well. Also, when I try to play the tutorials, the sound skips after every couple of words. This PC runs other games just fine, such as Battle for Middle Earth 2 and World of Warcraft. I have the latest drivers for my video card. I have directX 9c. I tried to download the patch for the game, but it keeps telling me that i haven't registered my CDkey, and to save my life i cannot find where to do that. PC specs:

P4 1.6 ghz
768 MB or ram
GeForce FX 5200 256 mb video card

Please help me find out what the problem is, as I really want to play this game.
