i'm just curious what you all do with the minor civs. in case no one has thought of this, when i'm at war and my freighters keep getting destroyed, i give the minor civs a planet along a back edge of my empire in exchange for some of their tech. then i set up one main trading route with them and have all of my freighter leave one big system with 4-5 planets. then i build as many economy starbases around the major system keeping my trade route within all of their areas of effect. then you can boost the whole system wih 5-8 bases. then i build a whole bunch of econo bases all along the trade route.
this makes the minor race worth more than their planet is worth if you invade it.
has anyone else found any ways to exploit the minor races???
