I bought the research wonder (sorry dont rember the name) you get with discovery sphere on my main reserch planet. I built it on a tile that had a invention matrix on it, so i expected to lose some research. However the wonder is supposed to give a 50% bonus and I had six other invention matrixes (spelling?) on the planet. My research on that planet went from 250 or so to 230 or so.
