A good feature for future update would be instead of invading a world. How bout being able to bombard a planet reducing its population. This can be use to soften the populace for an invading army. Or we can bombard the planet till the colony is completely destroyed. Then a colony ship of our own can come in and recolonized the planet.
I mean sure, if we invade, we'll capture and subjugate the alien populace. But how bout if we don't want those aliens there at all. How bout being able to just wipe out the population so we don't have to deal with them. Sure, i can open death camps after my invasion force takes the planet. But that has too many implications. But if we just kill the population from orbit, it'll be less messy. No need to build concentration camps. Of course there will be some type of penaly turning toward evil.
