a mirror image

how do i get a mirror image of a part when using the custom builder? when i try to use the 1st wing of the terrans set. and place it on the first side its one way, and when placed on the other side it shows the bottom, of the privious piece so it doesnt match up correctly.

Same problem here. I still havent found out how to make wings fit to my ships and face in the same direction...?

If you are using the v1.1 betas you can use the rotation dials to rotate the part. You can also select one part, then re-select it from the list and it will have the same size and orientation as the previously selected part. Then you can right-click on the rotation dials to mirror the part over that axis.

If you do not want to try the betas, you will have to wait until the final v1.1 is released to use the rotation dials. In the meantime, there are some "Hardpoint Modifier" parts in versions 1.0 - 1.0x that allow you to attach them and rotate parts in 90 degree increments. There are also some for flipping I believe.
