Things I would like to see

no, it involves moo in no way! :)

1: The ability to alter the routes of trade routes to keep them out of hostile territory, or to temporarily stop the freighters of a certain route in the case of a short-term war to keep them from being destroyed.
Ie: Me---->Enemy----->Trade Partner.
Now, if I could go AROUND his space at a small decrease in profit untill I completely obliterated most of his worlds and sue for peace...

2: Say I'm at war with Empire X, and empire Y doesn't like X, but can't risk a war with them, so they give me a ship with techs I don't have... I wanna be able to scrap it and either gain random techs that I didn't have before that where on the ship, or at least have it increase my research in that field.

3: Coordinated attacks against mutual enemies. "Hey buddy, we're both at war with the Terrans and that world with the manu capital is crankiing out capital ships like there's no tomorrow, but it has a large garrison guarding it, we should attack in 5 weeks..." etc. Hey, this could also provide excellent oppertunities to stab you in the back. When you reach planet P, your allies are nowhere to be seen because they are knocking on the door of your home systems while your fleet is under heavy assault by a superior force...

Any ideas if these where planning on being implemented in any time in the future?

sounds like more stuff to add in the expansion pack the ai is amazing now alot better than most if not all games out there what u suggest is just flushing out the ai more the only promblem with that is that it requires tons time to make usre that they do it right and to optimize it cuase lots ai algorythms take lots processing speed.
