Mod or Suggestion for larger fonts...

Hi,I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm trying to play GCII on a 30inch LCD that is mounted on a wall, and I am about 10 feet away. Problem is that some of the text / fonts are just a bit too small to see from that distance - if they were increased by just 3-5 points they would be perfect... Any ideas how to pull this off? It would be greatly apreciated. Thanks.

This is actually the major issue I have with gameplaying and my setup... Developers never seem to anticipate this setup.

Did you try going to Start->Control Panel->Display->Appearance, and in the Font Size box by the bottom select 'Large' or 'Extra Large fonts' then hit apply? Im not sure if that will work or not, but it's worth a shot if you havn't tried it

Thanks for the suggestion, I already have the machine pretty heavily tweaked UI wise, including with your suggested mod. They are currently at 150%, tried encreasing them to 200% which was noticeble in the desktop but not in the game. I've also tried running the game at 800x600 and 960x600 (some wierd resoultion my GT6800OC supports with my LCD) in both cases there are graphicall overlays, and frames out of the place. I'n CIV IV there was one file that I had to modify to increase the sizs.. but I can't seem to find any similar file with this game.
