So, Another game I was keeping an eye on while I was following GalCiv2, was Heroes of Might & Magic V.

I saw that they were having an open beta test so I went ahead and downloaded it, and whats the first thing I experience upon doubleclicking the Icon? That thing which turns any honest gamer's bowels to jelly... Starforce.

An hour later I still havent managed to get my activation code approved. I just deleted it from my harddrive and checked it off my list of "future purchases". Maybe if they score 10's on all of the gamesites ill consider tackling starforce again.

Anyway, I just wanted to again thank Stardock. This was my first experience with Starforce and it has made me really appreciate just how top notch of a developer you guys are. It takes guts to turn the other way and do the exact opposite of what other people in the industry are gravitating towards. (talking about your lack of copy protection, vs. their uber protection that protects the game from thieves, as well as the people who bought the game. I guess a game that cant be opened is pretty safe from copy thieves)

So!.. thanks again.. this gives me another reason to be a Stardock groupie and buy every game you put out
