Major, probably easy to fix, Gameplay Bug

Was experimenting to see if the 100% loyalty of the Yor means they don't reduce production at low approval ratings.
Well, it doesn't.

Decided to see what would happen if I did the Korx did it, thought the planet would go into revolt a'la civ or something. At the very least reduce production like the tutorial says. It didn't.

Furthermore, I returned the economy slider up to an 81% approval bonus. The effect?

Production neither went up or down from the raised 100% taxation 100% spending rate. And approval was at 81%. But I still had an unhappy face symbol. So...

somethings a little screwy.
And I wonder if that side effect of the Yor is a bug or not.
I'm gonna do a little more testing, only tested it twice and wonder if going a turn between each change would change anything. I did do a turn to update the economy though.

i thought the loyalty just means they are more resistant to cultural conversion.

I mean they could love their nation but still don't want to do anything when they are not satisfied about the leader.

As far as I know, Loyalty works against Cultural Influence and Morale is the one that increases Approval ratings. Like jklgon says above me, it could be that the Yor hate both their government and fleshy meatbag ones.

Heh. Oh well, so much for my hope. Got loyalty and morale confused...

Still, there is the bug part of this. Wonder if this new patch fixes it before I even state though.

Edit: OH YEAH! Loyalty prevents defection, which approval rating causes! Thats why I thought that. But so far, it looks like approval rating doesn't affect production at all, which the tutorial states it does.

Well the WIKI entry on Approval states that it only affects population growth, and ratings when you enter into more advanced governments. No mention of production effects.
