design major i'm not??

Is there going to examples of how to use the design ship feature in GC2?

WEll been playing the game all night (yawn) and into the next day.
Still can't get the ship design down to were I want to get some nice designs..Any suggestion good or bad will help a loser like me .....GREAt graphics ....smooth game play so far.............Thank s
