Buying GalCiv2 twice using tokens.

I was wondering if it's possible to buy a TotalGaming.net account with 10 tokens and then using those 10 tokens to buy GalCiv2 twice, one for me and one for a friend? Is that allowed and does the system support such a purchase?

Hi Mark,

Not really. The system will allow you to spend your tokens on a given game more than once (with a warning), but there's no way to transfer it or gift it to another person.

But I would have two serial numbers though correct? However, I assume the problem is that both serial numbers would be tied to my account?

Actually I'm not sure why this wouldn't work if I could buy the game twice. If I have two serial numbers, give one to my friend and a copy of the game shouldn't that work?

If you get two serial numbers, yes . . . and if you give him access to your account, which opens up a whole can of worms.

I would recommend you talk to [email protected] and ask them to sort it out for you. Unfortunately gift purchases were one of the things that the web team could not get into the schedule (I think it was either that or PayPal support).
