BUG: Social and Research Bonuses

Since no one from Stardock posted in any of the relevant threads I'm making this aptly named thread and hope that they take a look at it.

Neither social nor research bonuses (the civ-wide ones) are applied correctly when calculating the production points.

Social bonus is not applied at all
Research bonus seems to be halved

Well, after some tests, the research bonus seems to work the following way:
- 1/2 of the empire wide research bonus is converted into free research: you don't pay it
- 1/6 of the empire wide research bonus is converted into research that mus be paid

That leaves 1/3 unaccounted for. And what about social? Although they may not crash the game, these could be significant bugs.

Hmm looks like someone put that 2 on the wrong side of some parenthesis: (1/3)*2=2/3, (1/3*2)=1/6.

I believe the bonus should be:

Bonus from buildings etc. 1/3 free 2/3 just plain increase that you have to pay for
Bonus from starbases, and resources: 2/3 free and 1/3 paid for.

Yeah, well, look at the dates, when I started this thread and when he posted.
