First of all thx for this game SD.

On the planets ship building screen if you click on shipyard and design a new ship, you can not save that design, confirmation box never appears. And when you cancel that upgrade or design it soes back to ship building screen and prompts you x times for you to name that design (x being how many times you have tried to save that design in shipyard screen). You can not save your design since you canceled it and when you click on cancel there boom CTD!

This one might be by design i am not sure. But i think unlikely. When you click on upgrade button on shipyard (design) you can not remove any modules from the design in question unless you goto modules/engines or some other category and first select a valid module that can be fitted.
