Firstly, let me say that I love the game, and I give my complements to Mason and Eric for their job on a great soundtrack. Since the developers of GalCiv are not copy protection Nazis, I am encouraging all my friends to buy a copy and support this great indi team.
Now, in GalCiv 1, it was easy to determine how much of each race’s influence was present in a given sector. Now, since influence in GalCiv 2 is "area of effect" based (as far as I know), I am assuming there should be a list for each planet that shows how much each race’s influence is affecting that planet, but alas, I can not find this information. The best I can get is the influence overlay on the mini-map. I am trying to determine how far I am away from getting a colony to defect.
My read of the manual was fruitless. Anyone care to enlighten me?
[edit]
What I have found was my influence ratio, once I've destablized the race. I still don't know if there is a way to see each races influence on a given planet.

PS: Minor bugs:
Adding modules to a ship, and then removing them does remove the modules, but the icons still remains in the list of installed modules. I was able to get it to disappear by scrolling that list (if the list was long enough).
It seems that every few minutes, the whole game slows down and sound stutters. I am running an SB live (not up to date drivers), on a P4 1.7, 1GB, XP. Not sure of the specifics at the moment, but I can pay attention to them if the devs would like.
Suggestions:
It would be wonderful to see which ships/fleets are on autopilot in the main viewer when zoomed out to tactical view.
