missing interface issues

The economy interface is missing. When I go to the taxation screen, I see the numbers of tax and percents for military, social, and research, but THE SLIDERS AND LOCKS ARE ALL MISSING. I am unable to change anything.

ALSO, when given a morality choice, I am unable to make a choice. I also can't seem to see making a choice about which kind of starbase to make, though I can click in the general area and get what I want. All in all, the interface is bugged.
