Is the tech tree available for downloading? PDF

I would like todrool over the tech tree to get a jump on my lineup could we download one in PDF format or something printable as the Civ 4 people had at one point. It would be really cool to look it over MANY times before the game comes out next week.

Welp... I see that someone did eventually read this thread. Albeit a little to lat for the reason I wanted the tech tree in the first place was to look at it BEFORE the game was out... Since I preordered I'll own it Wed when the store and I can meet...
Oh well maybe next time...
there will be a next time?....right?

The tech tree is the same for every game. Your path down it will most likely be different every time though. And you will most certainly never make it to the end unless you are solely focused on the tech victory.

If the tech tree can be printed off, doesn't that defeat the purpose of including it with the Collector's Edition?

Hence, I would guess "no".

No Not really since I wanted to preamble abit BEFORE the game comes out and as in Civ 4 it makes people even more "Wanting" for the game. At least in theory...

If the tech tree can be printed off, doesn't that defeat the purpose of including it with the Collector's Edition?

A nice foldout, colourful, tech tree poster from the CE would still be better than a multiple-sheet 8x11 printout from a PDF file. But for those of us who preordered the DL-only version, the latter would still be better than nothing.

I tend to agree with Ash, since i only got the D/L version. Just a quickly done thing on all the techs in the manual would of been nice.

Agreed!

I remeber someone made one like that for galciv1. It was something ! when unfolded it was more like I was choosing which path to follow by actually taking a few steps over it...

Still I would like the option to print it too. I was thinking about ordering the CE box from stardock (and paying the supplement) to "upgrade" my totalgaming.net download option, but now it does seem a bit expensive for just a tech tree...
