Death Stars?

I was only able to build one once in GalCiv I. I played on easy mode so I could get one, but I had lots and lots of fun with it. Are they in GalCiv 2?

They were called "Terror Stars" (tm) and no, they aren't in GalCiv 2. They might find their way in an expansion though.

Yeah unforunately they aren't in

But i'm pretty sure they will add it in an update or something. They have to!

I wonder if you could design a ship that looked like a Death Star and then just name it that. Load it up with lots of ground based weaponry and just pummel planets, ya know?

Destroying a star, or even a planet, is pretty freaking cool. I hope they bring it back.

There is a tech movie called terrorstar in the preload. Apparently it is there.

It has been confirmed that i won't be in the game. Maybe they wanted it in at first and when they decided to remove it they left a few files behind. Have you seen this movie?

It could just be a holdover from the first galciv, and it'll be used to represent a mass construction technology for starbases.

I saw the film yah, like the man says it's a wireframe deathstar looking thing.  They probably have it but won't give it to us until they have time to balance it and tell the AI how/when to use it.  If you have radtools you can watch it, its in galciv2\movies\tech  Seems like it would be useful for breaking late game stalemates
