Alliances Should Extend the Range of My Warships

Warships Should Be Able to Resupply at Allies's Planets and Star Bases

Imagine one of my Allies comes under attack and asks for military assistance. However, my warships have insufficient range to respond unless they can resupply at the planets and/or star bases of my ally. If he needs the help of my warships, he surely would provide them with logistics support.

Hmm, that's a good point--one I hadn't thought of. One nice thing I liked about Birth of the Federation was that allies could use each other's shipyards and starbases to refuel and repair their vessels.

Does that UP event where your allies all get to use their allies respective starbases allow that? I always vote no on it. If they want a starbase in my sectors to use then they can pay for it their damn selves is my read on it.

You could always give the ships to him, then they'd be in his range...
I guess you could theorize the limitation in differences in life support, technology, standardization of parts...

Yeh, i know which one...But what is the disadvantage to allowing your starbases/planets from giving support? (maintance costs?)

Lowa11, the disadvantage is that your enemy is getting the same support from his allies starbases.
