Colony Screen Improvement

When building on colonies...

The game is going pretty well, just an occasional error crashes the game.
When I'm looking at the colony screen i'l like to see my civilzations wealth so I know if I should buy an enhancement...I once bought all the enhancements then backed out to map view and was 2000 in the hole

Also, can we get a button to buy the rest of an unfinished colony structure?

Is the next beta due out end of summer?

Is the next beta due out end of summer?

I think that beta 2 should be available after E3, near the end of May.

I think you discovered a bug. When you select an available buildable tile you get a list of projects that can be built on that tile. With that list two buttons show up, "buy" and "build". I suspect the buy button gets unhid at the wrong time, and that it should be unhid when a current or scheduled project is selected.

Then again, perhaps it is an artifact of this being Beta 1 - perhaps the support code for buying projects isn't ready yet.

No, actually, I didn't, sorry...
AFTER the tile has a project that is bulidng, you can only do three things
1. Move the project up in priority so it is built sooner
2. Move the project down in priority so it is built later
3. Get rid of the the project (destroy) so that another

The "buy" and "build" buttons you speak of only apply to the tile BEFORE a project is chosen.

There should be a button to finish building an already being built project using cash....and, of course, something that shows how much money your civilzation has inside the colony screen.

In the new inteface you will be able to see your treasury when you need to buy something.  I've added a bug report to our database about not being able to buy improvements that are in the queue.
