Cheating on Video games/online?

So is it wrong when you talk to the opposite sex in video games ( in a way that would be considered cheating in reality)...or you have relations over the internet. Were do you draw the line. If the someone hits on you should you hit on you should you flirt back? Is it up to you and the person you are married/dating?
I think that there should be clear limitations to what you do online. But you have to be able to agree with the other person. If you can have sex online that just may lead to sex with others while you are still married/dating. Everyone needs to talk to the other to make sure everyone is clear and understanding. If you can flirt with the opposite sex in video games and on the net what makes it so bad in reality.

You bring up an interesting point. If someone flirts and "has sex" online....how long will it take for that to transfer to reality. I don't that kind of thing now....and I definately wouldn't if I were in a relationship. Cheating is not only physical, you can also betray your significant other mentally as well. When you flirt and talk about naughty things with others and you're in a relationship.....it is cheating. Just because you're not doing it in real life doesn't make it right.

I agree completely with Zoo I personally feel when you are in a commited relationship sharing who your friends are in real life as well as online period whether in a game ect....is an important aspect of maintaining trust. If you are unable to share then you obviously do not respect the person you are involved with or have guilt about what you may be doing with these "other" friends where as you are unable to share the information knowing that it may not be acceptable for your partner thus taking away their personal choice of whether or not it fits into there comfort zone of the relationship you share with one another.
