Can't Play Custom Scenarios

Hey all,

I recently installed GalCiv II Ultimate Edition. The normal game works fine for me; I can start up a normal, unmodified game and play it through with no issues. However, when I attempt to play one of the custom scenarios such as Power Duel, the game crashes on loading the map.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks!
