As the title says, Twilight crashes after the opening cinematic. No menu, no nothing. Just crashes.
No, changing the resolution to my native res through the prefs file doesn't solve this.
No, switching between full screen and windowed does not solve this.
No, I don't have 15 year old video drivers (sarcasm intended - mine are the most recent Nvidia drivers).
So, now that I've gotten the stock responses out of the way, after reading up on various threads similar to this, I've only found one that a Stardock poster insinuated was the same problem as what I'm having, but said poster didn't actually go back to that thread and suggest any way around it other than to suggest it might have to do with administrator privelages.
Now, to spearhead anyone telling me to fiddle with adminstrative rights, this is an administrative account with UAC turned off. And hell, just for completeness sake, I've even installed/run this game as an administrator anyways.
If this is just registry settings that have to be input manually, I'm all for it. Just let me know what they are.
