Comon Dave, you know that's not entirely true... values or "indirect" context might be sealed by the code itself but if something isn't in an xml file, it won't show up within gameplay.
Besides, i always tick the precious settings option to turn this whole mess off since i prefer not being interrupted by anything simulated, good or bad.
I guess modding such an alternate system is also possible if one goes deeper into the functional routines called at runtime. One instance at random is still a single event if pulled from a list of ONE, i'd say.
