T of A crashes at galaxy selection screen nor will it load a game

before 1.96 patch TofA work.  Now when I get to the Galaxy selection screen it crashes when I press continue.  Also, it will not let me load a game from the auto save  Help please.

It looks like all the files didn't get installed properly.  Try un-installing Twilgiht, reboot, then make sure that the Twilight folde was completely removed.  If not, delete it.  Save games from 1.96 and earlier won't work anyway, so delete your My Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor folder to clear that out too.  Then re-install the Twilight beta.

THx 4 the help.  I did uninstall and reload 5x  (times). I used impulse to reload, Yes, I did delete all my saves and other commands. Used impulse, and the game loaded the same with  "string not fond" on some click points.  Completed uninstall again but ths time I used Stardock central.  It took twice as long, however the game finally loaded so maybe a conflict with stardock games central and impulse games dont know but  I have ToA again Whew!! *(also all strings not found are gone) only difference is impulse and stardock central
