Ok... I'm going through the races, slowly and one at a time... editing them so that I will eventually have some form of a star trek mod. Right now, I'm adding the planet images and star systems to each race. I edited Races 0, 1, 2 and no problem. Then I jumped to race 7, leaving the ones in between in tact and then used the same method I used to edit the others - which worked and still work fine. I have even tried, thinking that perhaps due to some bizzare improbability law I would have to edit them in the xml file in the 'correct order' in order for edittions to show correctly, although it shouldn't make the slightest bit of difference...

What happens when I start a new game is that races 0,1 and 2 all have their stars and planets with correct names and images but race 7 (my 4th) will neither accept the names that the above (unless I'm missing something glaringly obvious) code directs it to nor will it, because of the former, show the correct planet images.
All the files are all in the right places and work in the game when used for other races, etc.
I've tried loading unloading mods, etc
I've tried deleting all saved custom races - from all mods and unmodded
I've started all over again and put races in a different order and it is always the fourth race I put in, no matter who it is, what images I use that fails to appear - unless it's one of the original races, which I find really confusing and odd. What's up woth that and how can it be fixed/got around?
