Ok, so I don't have access to the computer where this problem is ocurring, but I know it's because of something I did so the system specs don't matter.

The porblem: Galciv TA crashes to the desktop after I select my race.  I have tried this with both standard and custom races.  It has only started doing this today.

All I did today was replace some of the music files with tracks from earth 2150 and tiberian sun.  I also created a custom race and edited it using notepad.  I do not know how either of these things would cause the system to crash but it has to be one of those.

Strangely, the earth 2150 tracks are listed as "winamp media files" but the regular tracks are not.  However, if the properties window is any indication, they seem to be the same format.  I'll post a screencap tomorrow to show you what I mean.

Reinstalling the TA expansion has not Helped.  I'll reinstall the entire game tomorrow.
