It's a very nice experiment in bending the rules or getting the most out of the existing set of rules. And I can somehow understand people who always try to break that previous record.But in terms of pure gameplay it isn't nearly as fun as a "regular" game imho. Still, the techniques and strategy used in ZYW can to some extent be applied in those regular games and the way of thinking helped me to speed up my early game phases a lot.
