free techs on GalCiv II

I was playing the game as normal when, on one turn, a tech came up for being researched, then about 16- 18 other techs,..some advanced ones,..started coming up as being researched, when all was said n done, there was no event and my lazy spies didn't steal the techs.

i think so, too,...i clikked it later on and they said share 1 tech n i got a boat-load of 'em again.
