Unable to set up Metaverse game with 1.95

I have upgraded TA to 1.95 and now I cannot set up a metaverse game.

I get the message that I do not have an internet connection when clearly I do Have.

Do you have a firewall possibly blocking the port that it would use?

I have upgraded TA to 1.95 and now I cannot set up a metaverse game.

There has been some screwiness going on with the metaverse lately...I lost my character, and thus far, support hasn't been able to get that fixed for me.

Thanks for the replies.

I have found that it is my virus checker that is the problem.
If I turn it off, then there is no problem.
It also stops the random CTD's that I was getting with previous versions.

Hrm, you shouldn't have to kill your virus scan program to run the game. McAfee is always live when I'm playing Metaverse.

Perhaps it's just a firewall portion of it?

I find it easier just to turn it off.
I wouldn't know how to turn the firewall off anyway.

I don't play the game when I am online and I only turn it off to set up a game.
