Disapearing Starports

I just purchased the game and am enjoying my first time playing.   The last few turns I've noticed my starports disappearing.   I rebuilt one several times on home planet only to have it disappear within a few turns.   Found no explantion in manual and other documentation.   Sabotage does not seem to be an option as it was in MOO.   Any explantion come to mind?

What version of DA are you playing? Did you upgrade from the box?

I'm not sure. I just downloaded it from the Stardock web site, also purchased the CD but haven't got it yet.
