Increasing HP for Terror Star? How?

Increasing hp?

I worked my way up to getting a Terror Star, but after it was built I noticed it had 56hp or so.. which means its pretty darn fragile. So I tried putting it in a fleet, but my game kept crashing. So instead I had to make a screen of ships around it to keep away all the enemies and pirates. I did manage to blow up the sun (and worlds) eventually, but that's after I made my 4th Terror Star. Their ships kept flying straight through my screen (which was large, imo) of ships and taking a single shot at my Terror Star. Is there a way to increase the HP of that thing... even if I have to mod something to do it? 150-200 or so would be fine, a fleet of enemy ships could destroy it.. but a single ship would need to blast it a few times.

You could probably modify the tech tree you use. so you could create and research your own techs add to your hitpoints. You could even tack on hitpoint pluses for your terror star techs (though it will probably effect all ships)

I doubt it would be modding the tech tree, but more likely the hull the TS is based on.

Increasing the HP wont do ANYTHING. It will still get destroyed within one combat even if it had a milllion HP. since it has no weapons, it cannot destroy anything in combat, but combat only ends when something is destroyed. Which will be always the terrorstar if left alone. No matter how much combat rounds it will take. You just dont see the rounds since it wont be shown in a fleet vs single ship combat(but you could switch that on).
If you want to keep the enemy from destroying your Terrorstar, you need to keep him away from it by leaving a fleet on the terrorstars position. A Screen is rather inpractical since there need to be no holes and if only one of your fleet gets destroyed you got such a hole. So its far better to simply keep all fleets on the terrorstars square till it reaches its destination.

Increasing the HP of the terror star will increase all starbase HP. It still won't do anything to its practical durability unless you add a weapons module like battle stations to the terror star.
