My Experience with Beta 6b so far. Every KI is on genius difficulty level in a huge universe:
- The Humans and Torians colonise every game very well and very very fast. The Drengins and Yor dont. I watched the Drengins. They have had enough colonization ships but dont used them. Later they seem to wake up, but its too late. When the Humans and Torians had about 40 Colonies, Drengin and Yor have about 12.
- the Iconian Refuge seem to take 100% taxes. On most of their 25 Planets their approvel ist only 1%. On their Home Planet everything is fine cause they builded there lots of their very good approval buildings. But because of their taxes the most of their planets have nearly no population and their economy and everything else is completly broken.
- I traded for the "Barren World colonisation" tech with a minor Race. But after that I cannot colonize barren worlds at all.
- Many races seem to have problems to build up a millitary force. Mostly because a lack of weapon techs. They dont researche them for a long time. This changed, when I traded the basictechs to them (spaceweapons for example).
- The Torians had for long time the best Weapon Techs and have the largest Empire. But they dont builded a single millitary ship for a long time. This changed later, and know they are the millitary leader as expected.
- some of the minor Races declared many senseless Wars to the mainraces, which were on the other edge of the universe. Beside this suicidal behavior, thex cannot reach each other.
- I saw a Drengin Fleet with very good guns. But they have no gun technology at all. So far as I know I am the only Race using this weapon category. The Drengin in this game normally use missiles. Never saw this Fleet again, so its a mystery how they get this.
As conclusion I can say that in this beta in the beginnig some KIs seems to be broken. But when they survive long enough they went to behave more in a normal, expected, way.
The last games with the last two Betas, in every game the Torians and Humans have the largest Empires, cause they colonise much faster than everybody else.
