It's funny -- in a way, I almost miss his lunatic rantings. It's actually sort of a pity that he's been so quiet lately, as he really helped discredit other anti-game critics (just by association) when he was mouthing off all the time.

Yay! Us hardcore gamers can sleep well tonight. I embrace freedom of speech but not when it's used by Jack Thompson or on South Park.

I know most of you guys prolly don't want to read the legal jargon as to why he was sanctioned, so here is the excerpt (swallow beofre reading this, you will laugh):

I realy want to see the picture book just for the hell of it. Although, my brian might explode....

So what does his book with the kangaroos in court and stuff mean?

I haven't followed that story closely, but AFAIK it means A) he's a nutjob, he believes the court is a bunch of nutjobs, or C) some of both.

I'd also have to say he is clearly an idiot at the tactical level. If you're trying to do an end run around the democratic parts of our system and you're not part of the executive, the courts are your only route. I'm pretty sure that judges who enjoy being mocked are a vanishingly rare breed, possibly found only on Boston Legal.

He's kinda died doewn recently. I remember when he was all over the airwaves spouting his crap. I figure the media finally realized it probably wasn't a great Idea to give airtime to someone who wants to limit the media.

He is a certifiable nut job and obviously has some sort of complex (we call it short man syndrome at work). I mean who would go and insult the people that you are trying to persuade to agree with you?
