Teamed with Torians

Ok, I just got the TA beta. I started a new game, with random opponents. Much to my surprise, I discovered that I was teamed with the Torians. I don't think teams should be possible with random opponents, no?

I also experimented and noticed you can start a game teamed with all the other races. You win at the end of turn 1.

Oh, I should probably have mentioned that I was playing as Terrans, if that's relevant.

If you last played a game with Torians set to teamed, the setting will persist until you set them otherwise.

Does that count DA games? This was the first TA game I ever played.
