I have this very frustrating problem, where out of the blue the game slows to a crawl. Scrolling, watching the ships move during a turn, it is a joke how choppy it gets.

I'm almost positive it has noting to do with my computer not being able to run the game smoothly because this choppiness problem seems to hit randomly. The game is running fine then wham the choppiness starts.

I might add that a lot of times the choppiness will hit on one area of the map only. And this is with just one ship on the screen, it still will be choppy on that one area and the rest of the map is OK when I scroll.

Very strange and frustrating!
