Do you accidentally hit "New Game" instead of "Metaverse Game"???

I decided to include all 4 varieties in the mod. The screenshot in the library only shows red with white, but you can see all of them below. If it were possible to change the button order I would have put Metaverse up top, but so far it's not easily apparent (as far as I can tell, since this is all DesktopX and I'm not too familiar with the code).

So for now, this should steer you away from automatically hiting "New Game" when you really intended to start a "Metaverse Game".

Hi everyone. If you're like me, you've accidentally forgotten to start your latest game as a "Metaverse" game 9 times out of 10. So I wanted to make something that would help me click the Metaverse button instead of the New Game button. If I had the skill I'd have moved the Metaverse button up top... but I don't. Sadly it took me whopping 5 hours to come up with this... and I'm still undecided.

So please help me choose which screen will be the default launch screen. (I will still include all of them, but I need one set for auto-install for those that don't want to mess with renaming files).

You will see the New Game button is slightly greyed (but still functions), and I've re-done the Metaverse button so it stands out.

Formatting seems less important than order of appearance. How about just having "Metaverse" immediately follow "New Game?"

This is not just a simple thing like recoloring text or changing fonts - or moving buttons around in Photoshop. If so, I would have done this a month ago. My original plan WAS to have the Metaverse button up top, but the start menu itself is Objectdesktop code - and since it's done per cell, layered, linked, and also appear to over-riding rulesets - well it's not so simple.

So this is the best I could do not knowing more about DesktopX/Object Desktop. To alleviate the "hit the top button" reflex I made the "New Game" text greyed and smaller.

Now I haven't done a whole lot with Objectdesktop, but can't you just re-name then re-target both buttons? That seems like it would be easier (or at least wouldn't be too difficult. But like I said, my modding experience and OD usage is minimal).

Lonewolf - for some reason it won't accept hardly any text changes. It's very odd. If you can figure it out, that'd be great. It's in the:
\GalCiv2\DarkAvatar\Screens\ directory - and the filename is: TitleWnd.dxpack

I can't find any target scripts either...
