Text Not Appearing

I recently re-installed my copy of DL (haven't bought DA yet), and when I re-installed it from StarDock Central, none of the text on the actual menu buttons appears, and when I went to where I knew the New Game button was and clicked on it, I got the Create Galaxy menu with nothing else but the yellow text (for Abundant, Rare, etc. and in describing the scenario). I'll go ahead and admit I haven't submitted a ticket to support yet, but I just wanted to see if this was an easy fix or not before I started jumping hoops to get it fixed.
