Peacetime Destruction - bug?

or 'where did my mines go?!'

Something rather strange happened in the game I was playing. A number of my mines were destroyed by AI ships without them declaring war on me. As near as I could tell, they were trying to move through that space and did not autopilot around like my ships normally do.

Hmm, never ran into that one, but it'd be good if that didn't happen. Do you have a save game that can reproduce the behavior?

I've had this happen as well. The Iconians destroyed my econ resource mining base in peacetime. I checked immediately to see if they'd declared war (since the popups aren't working) but no dice. I checked to see if attacking one of their ships would result in war, and it would. But I think I was able to attack the original offender without repercussions.

I hesitate to say it, but... a rogue fleet?

Now *that* is interesting. Player-initiated combat not resulting in war? Do you have a save of this?
