Is there a "Carrier" ship in GC II?

Is there a "carrier" ship that carry squadron/fleet of tiny or small size crafts in GCII?

I think this will be a be neat idea because typically the tiny or small size craft do not have much range and shouldn't have such range to travel half the galaxy alone.

Sadly, no and sadly, not coming. Still, you got point,how can one-man fighters travel half a galaxy?.

Well you can make a fleet will all fighters and a large/massive ship.
