Pretty much, the end result has to be s99_Large_19.x or similar (the modguide has more details on naming). You need a 3d modelling program that can open the model you find with an exporter that saves the file in the directx format (*.x). So far I think the most success has been had with 3ds Max and the Panda exporter. Coplann's modding example is a very good tutorial on importing ships. |
Thanks for the links...they will be handy, especially modders guide and most importantly Coplanns guide.I will try modelling next week, will try to model some Brakiri vessels, using miniatures as concept art.
