patch 1.3

Hi all!
I have some problems downloading the 1.3 patch. As I understood it, the patch can be accessed at stardock, but somehow I cant find it there...

Any ideas, or have I mistaken the release date?

1.3 is in beta right now, and is only available from Stardock Central.  You should not download the beta unless you are prepared to deal with bugs and report those bugs.

In the View menu of SDC, be sure the 'show pre-release versions' option is checked.

Remember, this is a beta patch, not the final version. So you should back up GC2 first (right click it in SDC, and select the archive option) so you can go back if you encounter problems you don't want to deal with.

Thanks the "show pre-release" option was not checked so that did the trick. I have nothing better to do at the moment, so I can just as well check out the beta patch

It's pretty stable for me however I did notice a bug when it came to fleet pictures.

If you have more then 1 fleet in the same tile, you usually see small thumbnails of the ships at the bottom of the screen. However after the 1.3 patch, those little pics are now big black squares. Not really a big thing but it does make it hard to choose the fleet you wanted.

I did notice something too, the surface view of the planets has gone white and the tiles (building slots) are lined up. Another strange thing has happened to the ship building window. Red triangles appears from nowhere when I add modules to the ship. Perhaps its related to my graphic card drivers, but I did update them a couple of weeks ago so...

Hadfeldt: Change your Regional Settings in Control Panel to "English (US)". There are some incompatibilities in the current build of 1.3 with european decimilization (swapping , with . ), though they should be resolved by the next beta.

speaking of bugs or at least it bugs me is that the fleets now just show up as a white box
