Sorry if this is covered elsewhere I could not locate a forum search and browsed a few pages of bug posts doing text searches.

Here are the lines generated in the debug.err file, that do NOT look the same as my GNN sitrep text.

Debug Message: Destroying ship Thalan Escort M1-12 776. Orbiting: 0
Debug Message: Destroying ship Torian Fighter M2-7 827. Orbiting: 0

What I'm seeing are pink triangles on the minimap, which say "Torian Escort" and the ships have green textures, but they are in fact Thalan, pink, ships. The GNN report says something close to "-my ship- destroyed Thalan Thalan Escort" or "Thalan Torian Fighter". You see above that I destroyed a Torian fighter, but I am not at war with them.

My custom race is at war with the Thalans and untreatied with Torians, and the game allows me to attack and destroy the green, Torian-looking ships, and reports them as Thalan Torian ships.

Confused yet? LOL.. Great game thanks for supporting it.
