Elections always "at the end of next week"

I researched Instellar Republic, switched to Republic. Got to the next turn, and the election screen popped up. Only problem was that it was transparent and I couldn't get out of it (except ctrl alt del, which I then did). The debug.err is in the nextpost.

Then I reloaded, and *bam*. The same thing happened.

But now I can play and I (think) never get an election, because it keeps saying "elections will be held at the end of the next week". But I had about 5 or 6 turns by now. Hope this was a helpful explanation, because this is quite annoying .

You are using regional Dutch settings. Change regional settings to english; use numeric format as 1,000.00

Try it with starting a new game. AFAIK the old settings are saved within the save itself, so it could be because of this...

... perhaps.

Your debug.err file indicates that there were problems reading/parsing your ElectionWnd.dxpack file. This is probably why it did not appear correctly for you. If your next new game prevents you from having an election, please try reinstalling the game to make sure that the .dxpack file is not corrupted. If that still does not work, you could try changing your regional settings to English.

I've put code into the game now to prevent elections from being always at "next week" which will be included in our next update.

I reinstalled the game (for the fleet manager bug) and I also changed the regional settings to English (with Dutch numeric format). That solved the problem, I just had an election.
