Hi. I'm not sure where to report bugs...
I'm running beta 4 of the version 1.1 patch that is comming up. Anywho, earlier in the beta I ran into this problem but I wasn't aware of where to post bugs and I assumed it would be fixed. Yet, it hasn't been fixed yet.
The bug is a random garbling of the minimap (more common) or the graph area at the bottom of the UI (less common). With today's garbling I was trying to see if it at all related to me changing a ship build order from one ship to another at my home world, and I couldn't determine if it was actually the source of the problem or not. I was zoomed out quite a ways and zooming in and out would trigger this problem, or at least I would have to alternate between zoomed out (symbol) mode and zoomed in (actual planet) mode.
I have a save game of that game (it was only a few turns in), two screen shots, and a debug.err as well although I cannot seem to now reproduce that bug with the save game and the debug.err doesn't say much of anything either. If it is any help, I was running the game with the "w" option because that allows me to alt-tab in and out of game really quickly (with the other version results in really slow alt-tabs). This bug happens enough to be annoying.
I am relatively up to date with my video card drivers (and I have no warning or alike from the game) and I had no problems before. Also, if I can provide any additional information, let me know.
